About G. Timlin Roofing Ltd

I, Gary Timlin established myself as a sole trader in 1998 before becoming limited in 2012.

I began my apprenticeship in 1987 with a local reputable firm. It was here that I gained practical experience whilst simultaneously gaining theoretical knowledge. I successfully completed a 2 year course gaining my City and Guild qualifications in Roof Slating and Tiling at Bolton College. I proceeded to gain success in a Skills Test at Birmingham College.

I lectured at Bolton College, the only institution in the North West teaching roof slating and tiling. It was here that I participated in the education and training of apprentices on their journey to becoming fully qualified professionals.

I have continued to support apprentices throughout their learning process. One current employee, who consistently performed at a high level throughout his apprenticeship, had the honour of representing the North West at Skillbuild, in a week long national competition at Birmingham NEC. Chris very proudly finished in third position.

My business has grown from strength to strength; I believe its success has come from my values of having honesty with clients, having a skilled workforce and giving value for money.
